As a Community Skills Trainer, you will have the opportunity to become fully immersed in the lives and daily routines of the people we serve. Supporting individuals with their day to day tasks and personal cares is just the beginning. Community Skills Trainers also build deep and meaningful relationships with those we serve. Community Skills Trainers actively engage with our clients in all capacities of their lives, working to build their social and emotional skills sets. Community Skills Trainers and clients participate in neighborhood events, partake in patronizing local businesses including restaurants and shops, play games, exercise and get outdoors, and exploring new interests. Each day is a new opportunity to learn from each other, laugh together and build a stronger community. We are currently hiring for a part-time position in our Vocational department, working with persons with disabilities. This position requires an Associates degree, or HS Diploma/GED and 6 months experience.
